The finger laceration that forced the Celtics to rule Jaylen Brown out for Friday's game required stitches.
Brown met with reporters before Boston hosted Toronto again and explained the bizarre situation. Apparently, he injured his hand when picking up a busted vase, and he had to get five stitches as a result.
Brown expects to be ready for the playoffs, but now he's added a finger problem on his shooting hand on top of the face issue that requires him to still wear a mask.
