Jayson Tatum is still officially listed at 6-foot-8, but Celtics coach Brad Stevens has now said on multiple occasions that he is actually 6-foot-10, most recently on Saturday (Stevens said the same back in August).
A growing Tatum is great news for the Celtics and scary news for the rest of the NBA, as it would make him even harder to guard and allow him to better match up against true power forwards.
It seems not everyone is buying Tatum's growth spurt, though. Count Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, a friend of Tatum's, among the skeptics.
Tatum then responded by referencing a years-long social media gag about his age.
Jaylen Brown also weighed in on the great Tatum height debate, deepening the mystery in the process.
Who knows, maybe by the end of the season Tatum will be a 7-footer.
