Payton Pritchard is getting the attention of the Boston sports community. That includes from someone who has first-hand experience in garnering the same sort of adulation.
Taking to Instagram, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman gave the Celtics rookie a shoutout after Pritchard's 23-point performance against Toronto Monday night.
That last two Celtics to wear No. 11 were Kyrie Irving and Enes Kanter, with current assistant coach Evan Turner donning the digits before them.
Rafael Devers has worn No. 11 for the Red Sox since 2017, while no Bruin has had the number since Jimmy Hayes in 2016-17.
