Find yourself a pro athlete who is more sensitive than Kevin Durant.
It will be a long search.
Fresh off his feud with Charles Barkley, who dared to criticize Durant following his underwhelming performance in Boston's four-game sweep over the Nets, the all-time great is now clapping back at fans on Twitter.
Durant spent time Wednesday morning quote-tweeting naysayers who ripped on him for Brooklyn's disappointing playoff run.
Though Durant averaged 26.3 points per game against the Celtics, he shot just 38.6 percent from the field, his worst playoff shooting performance since his postseason debut in 2010.
Earlier this week, Barkley questioned Durant's ability to win. "I don't want to badmouth the dude," Barkley said. "See, you guys always talk about that championship stuff. I try to tell y'all. All these bus riders, they don't mean nothing to me. If you ain't driving the bus, don't walk around talking about you a champion."
Durant didn't take kindly to Barkley's commentary. In response, he posted photos on his Instagram story of Barkley standing next to Hakeem Olajuwon and Scottie Pippen as teammates on the Rockets, and Barkley with Julius Erving and Maurice Cheeks on the 76ers.
The implication is, Barkley was a bus rider, too, and unlike Durant, didn't win two NBA championships.
That's a pretty sweet burn. Now that Durant is done for the season, he'll have plenty of time to come up with more.
