A potential new suitor for Gordon Hayward has emerged.
According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the Knicks would have interest in the Celtics forward if Boston starts actively shopping him.
Hayward has a player of option of $34,187,085 for 2020-21, with some believing he will be tempted to test free agency. A deal with the Knicks would likely come in the form of a sign-and-trade, with New York holding the eighth overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
Hayward is coming off a 2019-20 season in which he averaged 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.
