Brad Stevens reportedly had late night meeting with Celtics leaders following emotional postgame locker room

It was an emotional Thursday night for the Celtics.

Following their Game 2 loss to the Heat to go down 0-2 in the best-of-seven series, things got intense in the locker room.

According to multiple reports from people on site, there was a lot of yelling from from the Celtics locker room, including Marcus Smart. There were also reports of things been thrown inside the room, but things did not get physical between any players.

Players who spoke afterwards downplayed what happened, but apparently things carried on deep into the night.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Brad Stevens met with Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart starting around 1 a.m. so they could work through the issues of what happened after the game.

The report added there was a belief that the players were able to talk through things and were ready to start preparing for Game 3, which is set for Saturday night.

Tip off is set for 8:30 p.m.
