Brad Stevens is continuing his busy offseason.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics acquired 6-foot-9 forward Juancho Hernangomez from Memphis and in return sent back Kris Dunn and Carsen Edwards.
The deal can't be completed until Sept. 15, when Dunn and Edwards' contracts are allowed to be in the trade.
The move makes sense as the Celtics needed to trade away players since they had 16 contracts for 15 roster spots.
Hernangomez was the No. 15 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Nuggets and has bounced around the league since. Most recently he was traded from Minnesota to Memphis in the Patrick Beverley trade in late August.
In 52 games last season, he averaged 7.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
