Ime Udoka is now officially the Celtics' head coach after his introductory press conference on Monday, and that means actress Nia Long is now officially part of the Celtics family as well.
Long, who has starred in films like Boyz n the Hood, Big Momma's House and Big Momma's House 2 as well as the show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Udoka have been in a relationship since 2010 and have a son together. They became engaged in 2015, but Long has said marriage is not a priority for her.
On Monday, Long shared her first Celtics posts on Instagram. In the first, she congratulated Udoka and wrote, "I am beyond proud of this man. Expect great things because that's what he does."
In the second, she posted a photo of herself in a Celtics No. 18 jersey and said she likes the number 18. Udoka is the 18th head coach in Celtics history, and the team is looking to win its 18th championship banner.
