With little time left before the rookie extension deadline, the Celtics and Jaylen Brown were able to come to terms on an extension.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Brown has been extended for four years, to the tune of $115 million.

Reports of the deal came hours after Buddy Hield and the Kings agreed to a four-year extension worth $84 million, with incentives that could lead to a $20 million bump.

The Celtics made the deal official minutes before the deadline.

Brown is the first Celtics player to sign a rookie extension since Rajon Rondo in 2009.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports is reporting the deal does not contain a player or team option.
