Brad Stevens has responded rather swiftly since the team lost a healthy amount of assistant coaches, adding former 76ers assistant Sam Cassell and former Bucks associate head coach Charles Lee to Joe Mazzulla’s bench. Speaking of Cassell, it looks like he won’t be the only ex-Celtic rejoining the franchise.
Boston is also adding Phil Pressey to the staff, per The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach.
Pressey began his NBA playing career with the C’s back in 2013-14. He spent two years in Boston before splitting the 2015-16 season with Philadelphia and Phoenix.
After his brief NBA career, Pressey went onto play overseas before becoming a member of Missouri’s staff, where he spent his playing days in college.
