The Celtics will have one of their two NBA All-Defensive Team players on the floor Monday, but not both. Robert Williams is back after missing Game 3, but Marcus Smart will sit out Game 4.
Smart missed Game 1 due to a mid-foot sprain, but Monday's absence is due to an ankle sprain he suffered in Game 3. Time Lord missed Game 3 due to left knee soreness, which he battled in Boston's series vs. Milwaukee.
With Smart out, Derrick White will likely enter the starting lineup again, but Payton Pritchard could get the bulk of the point guard minutes off the bench like he did in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Also, with Time Lord back, Daniel Theis will likely play next to no minutes Monday.
On Miami's side of it, a plethora of Heat players were listed as questionable for Game 4 — something Erik Spoelstra has done all season. Tyler Herro is out, but Jimmy Butler is expected to play after leaving Game 3 early. Kyle Lowry is also expected to play Monday.
