ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting Robert Williams will have a arthroscopic procedure done on his left knee. As a result, the big man will miss four to six weeks — which could cut into some of, if not all, postseason play, as well.

Williams suffered a torn meniscus right before the 2022 NBA Playoffs, but he managed to make a comeback and looked near 100% at points throughout the Celtics' NBA Finals run.

Depending on how Williams' recovery process goes — something the Celtics will no doubt take their time with — Boston could be without two key pieces for a chunk of the 2022 portion of their 22-23 schedule. On top of Williams, Danilo Gallinari (ACL) is sidelined for the C's.
