A look at the box score would suggest the story of the Celtics' 122-106 win over the Hornets Saturday night was the presence of backup Malcolm Brogdon.
This was a game, after all, that started without Jaylen Brown and ultimately morphed into one that also lost his replacement Derrick White. Brogdon to the rescue, right? The guard did, after all, have 30 points in 31 minutes.
But the story behind the story in this one was the presence of Robert Williams.
The Celtics' forward supplied the jump-on-my-back-boys-energy at just the right time, pulling his team out of a first-half abyss before it wasn't too late.
And because of it, the Celtics have once again to the NBA's be-all, end-all.
