The mother of a 24-year-old woman who was seen dancing suggestively with Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer at his Ohio restuarant last weekend is reportedly concerned about her daughter's well-being.

On Thursday, the woman told USA Today that her daughter "can't even go anywhere," and that the seven-second video clip which surfaced on social media is "ruining her life."

The newspaper said it was not identifying the woman or her daughter because of backlash they've received without making any public comments.

The younger woman, who was seen dancing up against Meyer at his Columbus chophouse after he opted to remain in Ohio following the Jaguars' loss to the Bengals in Cincinnati, is being investigated by her employed, the outlet reported.

The marketing company where she works confirmed the matter is being reviewed but had not further comment.

The woman's mother said she is praying her daughter doesn't lose her job, and "she just bought a house."

The marketing company said it was investigating to determine what, if any, "impact" the incident had, but clarified that the woman has been a solid employee in good standing. The company confirmed it has worked with Meyer's restaurant previously.

Meyer apologized over the incident earlier this week. He said he had remaining in Ohio, where he has roots, to spend time with family and friends, and attend an "event."
