WE HAVE A TRADE FOR THE NUMBER ONE PICK IN THE DRAFT!!!!!
The Cleveland Browns have traded 1.02, 3.67, and a 2026 second-round pick to the Tennessee Titans for 1.01 and 5.167.
Adam Schefter is unquestionably one of the most, if not THE most, tapped-in reporter covering the NFL. His two draft related items so far this offseason have been that he was most confident in the Browns taking a quarterback and then more recently, he claimed there was no way Abdul Carter was getting to #4 in the draft to the Patriots. Add in what seems to be a growing consensus that Shedeur Sanders will not be a top five pick and here we stand.
The Giants additions of Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson indicate they know they’d be unable to beat a trade package from the Browns and need to go in a different direction.
1. Cleveland Browns - Cam Ward, QB, Miami
Cam Ward seems to be the only consensus 1st round quarterback, and although he is not the best player in the draft, the value of hitting on quarterback is simply too high to pass for a team that is hurting for decent to good quarterback play.

2. Tennessee Titans - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
This is the dream scenario for the Titans. They move down one spot, gain more draft capital, and walk away with the best player in the 2025 NFL Draft. They may not have a quarterback, but sometimes the best pick is avoiding the disaster pick. If Cam Ward wasn’t worth it for the Titans, then kick the can down the road.

3. New York Giants - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen want Cam Ward, but just aren’t willing or able to give up the necessary assets to move up to #1 ahead of the Browns. So, they were forced to bring in veteran guys like Winston and Wilson and need to take a player with massive upside potential. Fortunately for them, the player with that potential isn’t just on one side of the ball, but both.

4. New England Patriots - Will Campbell, OL, LSU
Not what I would consider best-case-scenario for the Patriots. So as WEEI midday host Rich Keefe would say, “take the best hoss available.” Small arm complaints be damned, Campbell is the best offensive lineman in the draft. Whether or not he is a tackle is yet to be seen.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Graham is explosive and fluid in his movements and the Jaguars need to add as much talent as they can find to their roster.

WE HAVE ANOTHER TRADE!
The Chicago Bears have traded 1.10 and a 2.41 to the Las Vegas Raiders for 1.06 and 4.108.
6. Chicago Bears - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
The Bears have been aggressive this offseason with new head coach Ben Johnson at the helm and it won’t stop on draft night. Having two second round picks allows them the flexibility to trade up and get the perfect guy to complete their new look offense.

7. New York Jets - Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
The Jets recently signed Chuks Okorafor as their right tackle after losing Morgan Moses in free agency. As a Patriots fan who watched Okorafor attempt to play last season, the Jets definitely still need a right tackle and Membou can slot into that spot on day one.

8. Carolina Panthers - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
If you want Bryce Young to succeed, he can’t enter the season with the corpse of Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette being his best receivers. Luckily, the edge class is deep and the Panthers can address that later in the draft.

9. New Orleans Saints - Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
Walker will add athleticism and versatility to the Saints defense and under new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley, they’re going to need an athletic freak to really make the system work.

10. Las Vegas Raiders - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Shedeur slides a little, but good friend Tom Brady won’t make him wait any longer. Both Brady and new head coach Pete Carroll are not fans of starting rookie quarterbacks, and in this scenario Sanders can sit behind Geno Smith for a year before donning the black and silver as the starting quarterback.

11. San Francisco 49ers - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The 49ers need a lot of help after getting their roster picked apart in free agency this year. They start by grabbing the number one corner in the draft even amidst all the injury questions.

12. Dallas Cowboys - Kelvin Banks, OL, Texas
Banks has the flexibility to play tackle or guard and the Cowboys need to get back to building that identity that helped them have success in the past, a stout offensive line.

13. Miami Dolphins - Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama
I don’t recommend taking a guard this high in the first round, but the Miami Dolphins desperately need the interior offensive line help to make sure they keep Tua upright this year.

14. Indianapolis Colts - Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
The Colts have weapons on offense, but simply need to put it together to have some success. Defensively though, they need some help on the back end to let the pass rush get home.

15. Atlanta Falcons - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Stewart astounded folks with his performance at the combine and the Falcons need a pass rusher like a goose needs water. A match made in heaven.

16. Arizona Cardinals - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
The Cardinals need to get in on the EDGE action this draft because their inability to create pressure has killed them at times.

17. Cincinnati Bengals - Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
After spending 69 million dollars on their two star receivers, the Bengals will be using 1st round picks on defensive players for a very, very long time.

18. Seattle Seahawks - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
After trading DK Metcalf to the Steelers, the Seahawks need some sort of playmaker to add to the offense alongside JSN. Warren gives you a wildcard that could lineup anywhere and do anything on any given play.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, BC
The Buccaneers need to add defensive playmakers and Ezeiruaku feels like the perfect fit in the Todd Bowles system.

20. Denver Broncos - Omarion Hampton, RB, UNC
Omarion Hampton is one of my favorite players in the draft. He’s explosive, strong, has great vision, and could be a major difference maker in the NFL. Sean Payton is going to grab a great compliment to his young quarterback.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
Aaron Rodgers simply cannot be your long term plan. I don’t think it’s ideal to sit a young, impressionable quarterback behind such a crazy person, but the Steelers don’t have much choice.

22. Los Angeles Chargers - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
The Chargers need speed. Golden is explosive, a good route runner, and can make some acrobatic catches. Get him next to Ladd McConkey and let Justin Herbert cook.

23. Green Bay Packers - Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
The Packers go corner here almost every time and Revel is the best one on the board.

24. Minnesota Vikings - Malaki Starks, Safety, Georgia
Starks has fallen far enough. He’s an exceptional player that will contribute immediately to the Brian Flores defense in Minnesota.

25. Houston Texans - Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
The Texans decided to strip the offensive line down to the studs and start over. Taking a solid tackle prospect with a handful of injury questions could be a treacherous start or it could be just the building block they need.

26. Los Angeles Rams - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Campbell is a crazy good ball player with tremendous athleticism and will fit in great with the young studs in LA.

27. Baltimore Ravens - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee
Pearce may be the second best pure pass rusher in the draft but he comes with a handful of questions. The Ravens can ease him into the NFL by making him part of their pass rush rotation and build him up to being an elite edge player in the NFL.

28. Detroit Lions - Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State
The Lions pride themselves on being better than you and nastier than you at the point of attack and Jackson adds that nastiness that GM Brad Holmes and HC Dan Campbell love.

29. Washington Commanders - TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio St
Henderson is an explosion waiting to happen and could be an amazing compliment to Jayden Daniels in the run game.

30. Buffalo Bills - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Derrick Harmon could bring an interior pressure that the Bills have lacked in recent years and as we’ve seen the best way to beat Patrick Mahomes is an elite pass rush.

31. Kansas City Chiefs - Grey Zabel, IOL, North Dakota State
After dealing away Joe Thuney, the Chiefs need to continue rebuilding their offensive line to try and help their superstar quarterback continue to have insane levels of success.

32. Philadelphia Eagles - Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
The best way for the Eagles to continue to dominate in the NFC is to keep an elite offensive line intact and to continue building on arguably the best defense in football. Adding Hairston to a secondary with Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean feels like the best way to build on a strength.
