The Patriots returned to the practice field Thursday for the first time since last Saturday as they continue to prepare for the Broncos this Sunday.
Cam Newton and Stephon Gilmore were among those who returned to action, but there was one player who missed the session -- defensive end Deatrich Wise (not injury related).
It is worth wondering if his absence is related to COVID and potentially being a high risk close contact of defensive tackle Byron Cowart, who is currently on the COVID list.
There were four players limited, the same four who have been limited dating back to the Kansas City game.
