The doubters weren't hard to find. Just take a look at NFL.com's prospect analysis of Bailey Zappe before the 2022 NFL Draft.
"He's unimpressive physically and lacks precision accuracy, so finding work as a backup might be a longshot despite the impressive career production."
And then there was where Zappe was taken: Round 4, 137th overall pick.
Well, the perception has certainly changed.
And don't think that Zappe's agent was going to let all those non-believers off the hook.
Of course, there are plenty jumping on the Zappe bandwagon after he led the Patriots to a 38-15 win over the Browns by completing 24 of 34 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns.
