Bill Belichick passes on getting involved in talk radio discussions regarding trade deadline

The NFL trade deadline is a few days away and the Patriots do not have a clear direction.

Sitting at 2-4, the team could be buyers or they could be sellers with Stephon Gilmore already being heavily rumored as a potential player to be traded. Some have speculated Sunday's result against the Bills could dictate which way they go.

Speaking via video conference Friday, Bill Belichick was asked directly if the team loses Sunday does that make them sellers at the deadline like has been discussed on sports talk radio.

"Yeah, well, I guess I'll just put it nicely and pass on the opportunity to get involved in talk radio," he said. "That's really a tough one for me to say no to. But, I'm going to say no talk-radio questions. Thanks for asking, though. I appreciate the opportunity to get involved."

The deadline is Tuesday at 4 p.m.
