Following the Patriots' 27-17 loss to the Colts on Saturday night, Mac Jones pointed out the team did not have a good week of practice leading into the game.

Appearing on The Greg Hill Show Monday morning (listen to full interview above), Bill Belichick was asked about the comment and what practice was like last week.

“Just execution, concentration, things that we just didn’t do well enough," he said. "I mean, it wasn’t one thing, or one person, or whatever, just general level of execution in practice.”

New England fell behind 17-0 at the half and then 20-0 early in the third quarter, but fought back to make a game of it late.

“I think we learn from every game," Belichick said. "Hopefully we can learn from the win, learn from the losses, learn from each game and improve. We certainly need to do that. That wasn’t good enough to win Saturday night.”

The Patriots will need to turn the page quickly and now focus on the Bills, who will come to Gillette Stadium for a critical AFC East matchup next Saturday.

As for the things that need to be fixed, it isn't anything major.

“It’s the usual things," Belichick said. "I don’t think it’s anything we haven’t talked about all year. Not turning the ball over, it’s not giving up big plays on defense, it’s ball-handling and field position in the kicking game, it’s going forward on offense. We had a negative play in every drive offensively, except for one. I don’t think it’s anything that we don’t talk about every week. We just didn’t do a very good job of it. Hopefully we can improve on that and fix those things.”
