Following Sunday's 24-6 win over the Panthers, Carolina linebacker Husson Reddick accused Patriots quarterback Mac Jones of a "dirty" play.

After Brian Burns' strip sack of Jones late in the first quarter, when the ball was loose Jones appeared to grab Burns' leg/ankle to stop him from getting it.

While on video (see below) it looks like a dirty play, on The Greg Hill Show Monday morning Bill Belichick gave an explanation for what Jones did.

"I think he thought Burns had the ball," he said (listen to the audio at top of post).

Reddick seems to disagree.

"I thought it was completely dirty. I hope it is something the league addresses," he said to reporters after the game. "… [It was] surprising a penalty wasn’t called. It seems like they are always protecting the offensive players -- where’s the protection for the defensive players as well? I don’t know. I felt like that was a call that shouldn’t have been missed.”

With the win, the Patriots improved to 5-4 on the year.
