Of course, Bill Belichick didn't reveal who he is considering at No. 15 overall during his pre-draft press conference, but he did give some insight relating to some members of the organization.

The Patriots coach noted Matt Patricia, who returned this offseason, has helped with some draft-related things and also mentioned Dave Ziegler, Eliot Wolf and Matt Groh when it came to the pre-draft process overall. Those three figure to be helping the most in replacing Nick Caserio, who used to head up the draft.

“In the end we’ve accumulated a lot of information,” Belichick said. “Matt rejoined us and has been heavily involved in the process. Dave Ziegler, Eliot Wolf and Matt Groh have really carried the ball on this. They’ve done a ton of work and their respective staffs that they oversee as well. But in particular those three guys have really done a tremendous amount of work, evaluation, organization and done a great job of putting things together. So that’s been great, to spend a lot of time with them and go through the process.”

“We’ve tried to be as well prepared as we possibly can heading into draft weekend and see what our opportunities are and do the best we can to improve the team, like we always do. It’s the same goal every year. Nothing’s changed there.”

Ziegler is still listed as the Patriots' assistant director of player personnel, while Wolf is a consultant and Groh is a national scout.

The NFL Draft will begin April 29.
