Tom Brady's Buccaneers are so excited.
They are 2-1.
How do we know? Well, they felt obligated to tweet out the NFC South standings as a badge of early-season honor Monday morning.
With the understanding that Tampa Bay is pretty excited about its team -- although it did also start out 2-1 in 2019 -- such a celebratory tweet seems a bit over the top.
It must be particularly head-scratching for the Bucs' quarterback Tom Brady, who began each of his 18 seasons where he was an Opening Day starter at either 3-0 or 2-1 with the exception of two.
The Bucs' record was built on wins over the 1-2 Panthers and 0-3 Broncos, having lost in the opener to the 1-2 Saints.
Brady is coming off his best game with the Bucs, going 25-for-38 for 297, three touchdowns without a single interception.
