Sunday's 20-17 win over Arizona was one of Cam Newton's worst statistical games in his career.
The QB was 9-for-18 passing with 84 yards -- a career-low -- and two interceptions.
Speaking via video conference Thursday, Newton was asked about what he saw from the passing game, but he did not want to talk about it.
“That’s irrelevant for me to talk about, no disrespect to your question," he said. "All our sights and focus is on the Los Angeles Chargers.”
Later on, Newton was asked if possibly his abdomen injury impacted his performance, but he had a similar answer.
“I’m focusing on the Chargers game, like I said," he said. "Just to keep everything kosher and everything up-and-up. Never one to blame, I am just focusing on the Chargers game.”
Newton was limited the first two days of practice this week.
The Patriots will take on the Chargers in L.A. Sunday afternoon.
