In their second to last practice prior to Sunday's game versus Philly, the Patriots took the field in the 91° Foxborough heat with an important piece of their defense missing.
Here’s a look at who was here, and who wasn't, on Thursday:
Attendance:
Absent: CB Jack Jones
PUP: S Cody Davis, DE Trey Flowers
IR: WR Tyquan Thornton, OL Riley Reiff
Other Notes:
- The following players were limited in the Patriots’ first injury report of the season on Wednesday:
OL Trent Brown - illness
CB Jack Jones - hamstring
OL Mike Onwenu - ankle
WR DeVante Parker - knee
G Cole Strange - knee
- Out of the above list, the lone absence on Thursday was Jack Jones, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. With the Patriots' secondary tasked with defending the likes of A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith on Sunday, they'd miss Jones on Sunday should he not be available. Given it's already Thursday, the injury is worth monitoring.
