Christian Gonzalez's shoulder injury is likely going to keep him out for the remainder of the season.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Patriots' rookie cornerback will have surgery on his injured right shoulder and he is likely to miss the remainder of the season. A source told WEEI.com on Monday that he tore his labrum when making a tackle on Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn on Sunday.
Gonzalez is coming off of September Rookie of the Month honors after tallying a sack and an interception through his first four games.
