The Patriots might just have their starting offense on the field with the first week of training camp closing.
Center David Andrews, who had been on the PUP list to start camp, was in shoulder pads with the rest of the team during Friday's session and did not have a red non-contact jersey on. He had said on Tuesday he was taking things "day by day" and making progress toward returning to the lineup.
With his return, the Patriots now have their starting offensive line apparently intact with Trent Brown, Cole Strange, Andrews, Michael Onwenu, and Isaiah Wynn lining up from left to right.
Even as Andrews got back on the field, backup quarterback Brian Hoyer was conspicuously absent on Friday. Only Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe took the field for quarterback drills a day after Hoyer got no reps in practice.
