When the Patriots' 2021 schedule was released, New England’s Week 15 trip to Indianapolis was officially listed with a day and time that was to be determined.
Well, that’s now locked in as a Saturday night game on Dec. 18 at 8:20 pm at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Given that the Patriots and Colts are suddenly two of the hottest teams in football heading toward the postseason, it’s probably not surprising that the game is getting prime time treatment on the Saturday night exactly one week before Christmas.
New England (7-4) has won each of its last five games in row heading into Sunday’s battle with the Titans at Gillette Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Colts have won three games in a row to pull to 6-6 on the season after last Sunday’s big upset win in Buffalo to pull within striking distance of the playoff picture.
