Containing the Ravens' Lamar Jackson is no easy task, but Deatrich Wise Jr. has been up to it.
In fact, New England's highest-graded player through two weeks of the regular season just did something in the first half that no Patriot has done in an entire game in five years.
When Wise picked up his third sack of the hyper-elusive Jackson in the second quarter, he became the first Patriot to post three sacks in a game since Chandler Jones did it in 2015 against the Buffalo Bills.
He also added a tackle for loss on a run stop to give him four overall for the game.
Jackson has been tough to corral for the Patriots through one half, slipping through the fingers of Matthew Judon and Josh Uche multiple times in the first quarter alone. But Wise continues to hint his monster start to the 2022 season is no fluke.
Still, the Ravens lead 14-13 after a Jackson touchdown pass to Mark Andrews -- their second connection of the day -- going into the second half.
