Devin McCourty was very honest about his performance in Sunday's win over the Texans.
Speaking on The Double Coverage podcast with his twin brother Jason, he called it one of the worst games he's played as a member of the Patriots.
“Sunday, I played terrible, probably one of the top five worst games that I’ve played since being on the Patriots,” McCourty said. “I’m not gonna get mad -- like, you can’t. It is what it is.”
McCourty was part of the 67-yard touchdown allowed to Corey Moore in the first half where he took a bad angle on a throw up the sideline.
Pro Football Focus gave him a 29.3 grade, which is the worst he's ever received in his entire career. He missed two tackles and gave up two catches on two targets in pass coverage.
He'll look to bounce back this week against the Cowboys.
