Former Bills and Jets coach Rex Ryan, who is now an ESPN NFL analyst, hasn't exactly been the biggest fan or believer of the Patriots over the years.

But, it seems like that's changing.

On NFL Countdown Sunday morning, Ryan admitted the Patriots are a "dangerous" team.

"I was all out on these guys, ever since Tom Brady left," he said. "I looked at them like I'm completely done with this team. It's going to be 10 years until they make the playoffs. ... I don't want to say it, but they're dangerous."

The Patriots are currently 4-4 on the year, but playing their best football. They had their best win of the season last week in Los Angeles against the Chargers and have scored 25 or more points in four straight games.

After taking on the Panthers this week, they will host the Browns next week.
