The Patriots haven't been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, so for those who still believe they can get there, the team got what it needed on Sunday.
At 6-7, the Patriots need to win their remaining three games and get some help from the teams ahead of them in the standings in the Raiders, Dolphins and Ravens.
On Sunday, Miami fell to Kansas City and then the Raiders fell to the Colts. As of now, it seems the Patriots (6-7), Raiders (7-6), Dolphins (8-5) and Ravens (7-5) are all fighting for the No. 7 seed and final spot in the playoffs.
In addition to needing to win out, the Patriots need: Miami to lose two of its last three games, the Raiders one of their last three and the Ravens two out of their last four.
Baltimore will take on Cleveland Monday night.
