While it may have taken longer than some thought, Stephen Gostkowski has a new team.
The 36-year-old signed with the Titans, which makes a lot of sense after he and his family recently bought a home in the Nashville area. Gostkowski attended the University of Memphis.
Gostowski was released in March as the Patriots’ all-time leading scorer. He only appeared in four games last season as he was placed on injured reserve with a hip injury.
Last year he was 7-of-8 field goals and 11-of-15 extra points before being placed on injured reserve on Oct 2.
The Titans also have undrafted rookie Tucker McCann on the roster, but it appears the job will be Gostkowski’s.
