With the Patriots playing on Thursday night -- and winning 25-0 against the Falcons -- the team will now have the weekend off to rest ahead of their big Week 12 game against the Titans.
So, how will Mac Jones spend his first Sunday without a game?
“Just get home and watch the film and relax with my family and just keep watching film," he said to reporters following the game Thursday.
It's really no surprise considering Jones seemed upset with his performance against Atlanta.
The rookie went 22-for-26 passing for 207 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The offense did struggle at times -- scoring just one touchdown, going 4-for-12 on third down and 1-for-3 in the red zone.
“We can do better on offense, and we’ll do that," Jones said. "It all just starts with watching the film. It’s a short week, but there are no excuses. We can play better and we will.”
With all that being said, the Patriots rank sixth in the NFL in points per game (27.3) and are second in point differential per game (+11.2).
New England will host the Titans Nov. 28.
