Gregg Doyel is at it again.

The Indy Star columnist wrote numerous columns attacking the Patriots during Deflategate, and with New England visiting Indianapolis Saturday night, Doyel penned another one Tuesday.

He called out Bill Belichick as well as Josh McDaniels (click here to read).

Doyel joined Merloni & Fauria later in the day to defend what he wrote.

“I think I was fine until I heard Belichick patting himself on the back about how, [the Patriots] don’t go on Hard Knocks — and they don’t have to, I get it — but 'we don’t go on there for a lot of reasons and we’re going to study and we’re going to look at [everything]' -- just kind of insinuating that again, he has all the answers," Doyel said. "He’s smarter than everyone else and make the Colts pay for being on Hard Knocks because he’s going to find out some stuff. The guy rubs me the wrong way.”

As for McDaniels, he's glad he turned the Colts down a few years ago.

“We’re better off without McDaniels," said Doyel. "We are. The only thing he’s ever done right is latch his mouth to Bill Belichick’s rear-end. That’s the only thing he’s every done right. He’s done nothing else right, so we’re lucky.”
