FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots officially have some injury issues ahead of Week 1.

After being limited Wednesday, wide receiver Nelson Agholor and cornerback Jalen Mills did not participate Thursday. Both players were present during the media portion of practice, which only included stretching.

Also, rookie linebacker Ronnie Perkins (shoulder, limited) was added to the injury report.

Not practicing Thursday is not a good sign for those two players for Sunday against Miami.

If Agholor cannot go, Gunner Olszewski or Malcolm Perry would likely slide into the No. 3 wide receiver role, or a player could be elevated from the practice squad. But, if that were the case expect even more two tight end sets.

As for Mills, with Stephon Gilmore on PUP, cornerback was already thin. Shaun Wade or Joejuan Williams could be forced into a starting role opposite JC Jackson. The defense could also move Jonathan Jones out of the slot, but that's not one of his strengths.

The Patriots will practice again Friday before Sunday's game.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

DB Jalen Mills (ankle)
