FOXBOROUGH -- The following Patriots players are inactive for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins: offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste, linebacker Ronnie Perkins, kicker Quinn Nordin, running back J.J. Taylor, tight end Devin Asiasi and cornerback Shaun Wade.
Taylor and Asiasi are surprises since they were healthy all week. This signals rookie running back Rhamondre Stevenson should be full-go, as he reportedly dislocated his thumb just over a week ago. Asiasi is interesting since it means the team will only have two active tight ends.
Cornerback Jalen Mills and wide receiver Nelson Agholor are active after being listed as questionable. Perkins and Cajuste were as well, but both are inactive.
Nick Folk will be the kicker as the undrafted rookie in Nordin is inactive.
