Following three years with the Patriots and playing with his twin brother Devin, Jason McCourty signed with the Dolphins this week as a free agent.
On Saturday, Jason released a message on social media to New England where he thanked Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, as well as lower-level members of the Patriots organization, including a security woman, for everything over the three years.
Jason was able to win a Super Bowl during his time with the team, which is one of the highlights of his entire football career.
"Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened," the tweet read.
