Julian Edelman's fantasy team has a great name, is otherwise struggling

As any serious fantasy football manager will tell you, coming up with a great team name is a critical part of your season. Julian Edelman has at least mastered that part, as the former Patriots wide receiver revealed in a tweet on Tuesday that his team is named "Ernie Adams Fami11y," referencing Bill Belichick's longtime right-hand man.

Edelman could use some help with everything else that goes along with managing a fantasy football team, though. His team is 2-6, he's in ninth place in a 10-team league, and he's now begging Twitter for advice.

It's a reminder that fantasy football can be absolutely brutal, even for those who know the game inside and out. Edelman has clearly been hurt by Christian McCaffrey's injury, which has kept him out since Week 3, and Allen Robinson's ineffectiveness, as the usually prolific wide receiver has been severely limited in the Bears' horrible offense. Those were probably two of Edelman's early-round draft picks.

Still, there are some moves Edelman can make to try to get back on track. If you're reading this, Julian, here are a few recommendations: 1. Start Michael Pittman. He's your second-best wide receiver, and your best this week with Mike Evans on a bye.

2. Trade either Matthew Stafford or Patrick Mahomes for running back help. You don't need three quarterbacks, and you should be able to get something for one of those two. Even when McCaffrey returns, which could be as early as this week, you need a better RB2.

3. Drop Austin Hooper and probably Zach Ertz, too. You don't need that many tight ends, man. Pick up more running backs and wide receivers with some upside or an opportunity to play more. Someone like Boston Scott, Jeremy McNichols or Adrian Peterson might be available.
