The Patriots had perfect attendance from their 53-man roster at practice Wednesday afternoon, according to reporters on the scene.
In addition, one player currently on injured reserve -- rookie offensive lineman Justin Herron -- was present meaning his 21-day clock to return has started. Meanwhile, Julian Edelman was not present, so his clock has not started and he remains in IR.
There was some speculation that he could return to practice this week, but that hasn't happened just yet. Edelman had a procedure on his knee just under a month ago.
“I can confirm he’s getting better,” Cam Newton said Monday on The Greg Hill Show. “He’s doing well. For him to be everything that he is — and I know he may be listening or he may be having his people listen — he’s good, man."
The Patriots are preparing to take on the Texans Sunday afternoon in Houston.
