The Patriots won’t have their quarterback or their top wide receiver against Green Bay on Sunday, but they will have an important defender back to face Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense.

Kyle Dugger (knee) will be active in Week 4 after missing last week’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens — a key cog in a defense that needs all the help it can get against Rodgers and the dynamic Packers backfield.

Cornerback Jalen Mills, however, will not suit up for the Patriots after struggling through a hamstring injury the past few weeks. This could test the defensive back depth and force rookie Jack Jones into significant action.

Quarterback Mac Jones (ankle) and Jakobi Meyers (knee) were ruled out prior to Sunday, with Meyers’ absence being somewhat unexpected after he returned to practice this week.

Meanwhile, the Packers will be missing No. 1 cornerback Jaire Alexander against New England.
