gresh & fauria: "Do you feel better or worse about the Patriots after Day 1 of legal tampering?

It's reportedly down to two teams for free agent wide receiver Calvin Ridley's services.

According to The Athletic's Jeff Howe, it's between the Jaguars and the Patriots." He added, "there have been other teams involved, but the current likelihood is Ridley will be deciding between Jacksonville and New England."

"Both feel like they're in it."

The Patriots have made several moves in the wide receiver room since Sunday, agreeing to re-sign pass catchers Kendrick Bourne and Jalen Reagor, and designating DeVante Parker for a Wednesday release. According to CBS Sports' Josina Anderson, New England is set to target the veteran wide receiver market.

On Ridley specifically, ESPN's Adam Schefter added that the Patriots are "pushing to sign" him, but it's believed that the wide receiver prefers to return to Jacksonville. This could, of course, be a money play as Ridley is the top pass catcher on the market.
