The NFL trade deadline is a day away and at 4-4, many believe the Patriots will be buyers and will look to add a piece to their roster for the final nine games of the season.

On The Greg Hill Show Monday morning, Jermaine Wiggins gave some reasons why.

“There is no dominant team," he said. "There is no dominant team that you go, ‘OK, this team is just better than everybody else, it’s going to be extremely difficult to beat them.’ You look at the NFC, between the Tampa Bay Bucs, the Green Bay Packers and the Rams and even the Cardinals, you go, ‘There’s four legit teams there.’ You look at the AFC, it’s really wide open for anybody that is kind of in that mix right now. Because you were able to win [Sunday], you put yourself in that mix. Why wouldn’t Bill [Belichick] do something?”

It is worth pointing out the Patriots only have roughly $3 million in cap space, so if a deal is made it would have to be for a player who does not have a big contract.
