A little more than an hour after the Patriots' first injury report of the week was released, New England issued an updated report with a rather notable addition: Mac Jones.

The rookie quarterback was listed as limited in Tuesday practice with a left thumb injury on the updated report, though his status was later changed to full participation on a third update of the report. Obviously it being his non-throwing hand significantly minimizes the concern, regardless of his exact practice status on Tuesday.

Jones has started all 13 games for the Patriots this season and played all 51 of New England offensive snaps in the pre-bye Monday night win in Buffalo in which he threw the ball just three times with a pair of completions.

Jones and the Patriots enjoyed four days off during their Week 14 bye from Thursday to Sunday before returning to work on Monday at Gillette Stadium to begin preparations for Saturday night’s game against the Colts in Indianapolis.

Jones was one of 11 players listed on New England’s updated injury report, including nine guys who were limited in practice. Damien Harris was one of those limited due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the win over the Bills.
