Matthew Judon is enjoying a career season. And the NFL is rewarding him with another surprise drug test for performance-enhancing substances.

On Thursday morning, Judon posted a screenshot of a text message he received from an NFL representative telling him he’s been selected for a test.

“Dear @NFLPA @NFL leave me the F alone please,” he tweeted. "It’s no way this is random. I take melatonin to sleep sometimes. The rest is just vibes.”

Judon, who signed a four-year, $54.5 million deal with the Patriots last year, is putting up the best season of his career. He’s already been credited with a career-high 14.5 sacks and 50 tackles — which is just 10 away from his career best.

He had 1.5 sacks and two QB hits Monday night against the Cardinals.

As Judon’s tweets indicate, this isn’t the first time he’s been tested after a big game. He’s tweeted twice over the last three weeks about being subjected to so-called random drug tests.

Star Eagles wideout A.J. Brown complained this season about being selected for a drug test following his six-catch, 153-yard, 3-touchdown performance against the Steelers.

The tweets don’t lie: the NFL’s “random” drug tests appear to be anything but.
