Matthew Judon has played six NFL seasons, so he knows a good quarterback when he sees one.
Listening to him speak on Merloni & Fauria Thursday, it's clear he believes in Mac Jones and the Patriots should feel good about their future with him under center.
“Mac’s cool," Judon said. "He’s not a scared rookie, he just doesn’t say a lot. He honestly doesn’t say a lot. But when you do talk to him, when you do kind of crack him, he’s a great dude. Great dude. Very professional. Great leader. I think he has all the intangibles to be a great quarterback in this league for a long time. I think he’s showing that. [I think] him next season, he’s going to be 100 times better.”
Jones finished second to Ja'Marr Chase for Offensive Rookie of the Year, which was revealed Thursday night.
