Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon is not ignoring the noise. In fact, Judon, who is currently in the midst of a contract dispute with the team, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) Tuesday night to respond to criticism from WEEI’s own Gresh & Fauria.
During Monday’s show, which was broadcast live from Gillette Stadium, Andy Gresh and Christian Fauria criticized Judon for how he handled his media availability that day.
“Own it. If this is your stance, Matthew Judon, own it,” Gresh said in reference to Judon repeatedly deflecting questions towards team management.
Gresh also took issue with Judon not taking ownership of everything that’s posted on his social media accounts, and with Judon now avoiding fans and cameras by taking a back route onto the practice field.
Gresh & Fauria posted video of that segment to their show's X account, and Judon responded with a quote post Tuesday night – more than a day later – while making clear that he was posting himself this time.
“I said when was [sic] aren’t in pads but besides me staying hours on hours to sign and throw the ball around with the fan how about yall come talk to me,” Judon wrote. “And this me tweeting. You [expletives] just sit down and talk.”
Judon was on the field to start Tuesday’s practice, but did not participate in positional drills.
Gresh & Fauria will get to respond to Judon’s post Wednesday at 10 a.m. on WEEI.
