More fights mar Patriots-Panthers joint practices

The Patriots and Panthers couldn’t get through one play of team drills without dropping the gloves.

Then, on the first play of 11-on-11s between the Panthers’ offense and Patriots’ defense, Christian McCaffrey appeared to throw a football at Deatrich Wise Jr. after a collision on the sideline. From there, a massive fight ensued in front of the stands, during which Wise was reportedly pushed into a woman sitting in the first row.

Wise was ejected from practice, and the two teams huddled separately on the field before resuming team drills.

Wilkerson, who was ejected from Tuesday's practice for fighting and was still down on the field during the first scrum, left practice and did not return.
