Patriots reportedly have multiple players as 'close/high risk' contacts with Stephon Gilmore

The Patriots are not out of the woods yet when it comes to COVID-19 cases on the team.

While tests have come back negative over two straight days, according to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, through contact tracing several players have been identified as close/high-risk contacts of Stephon Gilmore, who tested positive on Tuesday.

Gilmore joined Cam Newton and practice squad defensive tackle Bill Murray on the COVID list.

The Patriots will work remotely for a third straight day, but the hope is to return to the Gillette Stadium facility to practice on Saturday.

Players will continue to be tested and results monitored very closely as the team will host the Broncos on Monday night in a game that was rescheduled from Sunday afternoon.
