There has been speculation about Najee Harris and the foot injury he suffered or reaggravated in Sunday’s win against Cincinnati.

But Harris, who wasn’t able to play in overtime, said he plans to practice this week and play against the New England Patriots in the home opener on Sunday.

“I’ll be back at practice this week and then I will be playing this weekend,” Harris said on Mad Dog Sports Radio on SiriusXM Tuesday morning.

“Just got dinged up, nothing too crazy,” Harris told Adam Schein.

Harris added he'll use Tuesday's day off to heal and plans to be back at practice on Wednesday.

NFL Network’s Mike Giardi reported on Monday that Harris’ injury was “not considered a big deal.”

There was concern that he may have reaggravated a Lisfranc Sprain in his foot that he suffered during training camp.

Harris struggled prior to the injury, rushing for just 23 yards on 10 carries. The Steelers are counting on him to be a dynamic compliment out of the backfield to a talented receiving corps.

Harris did have two catches, including one touchdown from quarterback Mitch Trubisky on Sunday.
