FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots held their first practice after finalizing their initial 53-man roster Sunday on the lower grass field behind Gillette Stadium.

Three players on the active roster were missing: Beau Allen, Damien Harris and Gunner Olszewski.

Allen hasn’t participated at all this summer, so he seems like a likely candidate to go on injured reserve. Harris potentially could as well since the new rules say players only need to spend three weeks on it and unlimited players can return.

Olszewski has missed multiple practices with an unknown injury.

The practice squad was revealed based on who was on the field. Those players are: Nick Folk, Justin Rohrwasser, Xavier Williams, Myles Bryant, Nick Thurman, Terez Hall, Devin Ross, D'Angelo Ross, Isaiah Zuber, Bill Murray, Caash Maluia, Jake Burt, Paul Quessenberry, Rashod Berry and J.J. Taylor.

In addition, wide receiver Mason Kinsey will be added once he passes COVID testing.

The Patriots are preparing to host the Dolphins next Sunday at 1 p.m.
